LATEST UPDATES

In line with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, we are pleased to welcome you back into our Metropolitan studios from Friday 18 June.

You can book classes online and via the KX app from Thursday 17 June — existing class packs will be ready to use in your account.

Due to density requirements, we will be restricted to 10 people per class. We kindly ask that you remain outside the studio until your class time.

While you are not required to wear a mask during classes we ask that you wear a mask inside the studio before and after your workout. You can read more about our COVID-Safe check-in and how we are keeping our studio safe below.

Given the latest announcement by the Victorian Government, we have made the difficult decision not to run the KX40 challenge in our Victorian studios.

This cancellation will only affect our studios in Victoria, which will remain closed temporarily. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide you with an update on reopening when we can.

What happens to my KX40 class pack?

  • All KX40 class packs will be automatically converted to a 20-class credit on your account for you to use at your local studio from date of reopening.

  • Your new 20-class credit will be valid for 60 days from the date your local studio reopens. Your class pack can only be used at studio from which you purchased it.

  • If you would prefer that your KX40 class pack be refunded, contact your local studio via email before 11:59pm on Thursday 17 June and they will process this for you. After this date, your KX40 pack will be converted to a 20-class pack.

Why isn’t the challenge being postponed?

  • With uncertainty around government restrictions, we are not comfortable locking you into a challenge you may not get the chance to complete.

  • We feel it is within the best interest of our KX40 participants to offer more flexibility with their packs when restrictions are lifted.

  • We are still planning on running future KX40 challenges, which we’d love you to take part in.

If you have any questions please contact us or your local studio directly via email. For up to date information about COVID-19 restrictions and how they impact our studios please visit our website.

HOW WE
KEEP YOU SAFE

It is now compulsory for all KXers to bring their own sweat towel to the studio. Our Trainers will be monitoring this in every class. Should you forget, we will have a limited range available for hire in the studio.

Our water taps and drinking fountains will be temporarily closed in the studio. Please make sure you bring your own pre-filled water bottle to class.

As always, we will continue to distribute antibacterial wipes or spray at the end of every class. These wipes are specially formulated with a disinfectant that stops virus, bacteria and germs in their tracks, helping to prevent the spread of colds, flu, and other contagious infections in our studio and have been tested against Coronovirus.

We will be encouraging all clients to thoroughly wipe down their reformer bed (including foot-bar, shoulder pads, head-rest, straps, carriage and platform), dumbbells, poles, ring, ball, mats, box and jump-boards after every class.

Trainers will wash their hands with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds before and after every class.

Trainers will be wiping down doors, reception desk, iPad, lockers, pigeon holes, taps and bench tops three times a day (morning, lunch and evening).

If available, trainers will be offering hand sanitiser to each client at the start of every class.

There will be no communal magazines available in studios.

There will be no fruit available in studios.

Studios will no longer be offering water to clients through cups. Please bring your own pre-filled water bottle to class.

We will be reviewing our schedule morning and night and will contact you should we require classes to be merged.

If our Trainers are unwell, they will not be running classes to minimise the spread. This may mean that classes will be canceled if a replacement trainer cannot be found.

Any staff that display COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home immediately.

We will deploy our response plan by arranging a professional disinfection and sterilisation of the studio. Credits will be issued for any classes that have to be cancelled. Clients will be contacted when bookings re-open.

We will be following the advice given by the Government to notify any affected KXers where required. Please follow the following government recommendations at https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert
