When starting at KX Pilates, we ask that you attend at least 4-6 Beginner classes to familiarise yourself with our dynamic training method, basic principles and exercises before proceeding to an Intermediate class. We then recommend completing 20-30 Intermediate classes before trying out the Advanced classes. Once you’ve achieved an Advanced level you can mix and match classes to suit – it will never get boring! Are you ready to change levels? An easy way is to ask your Trainer after completing your class. They’ll know if you’re ready to move into a more advanced level. How often should I attend KX Pilates classes?
Exercise is such a personal thing. How often you train will depend on your fitness level, how your body adapts to the training and how well your body can recover. It also depends on your fitness goals and what you do outside of KX classes. We recommend starting with no more than two to three classes per week and increasing from there. My class is booked out, what can I do?
With a maximum of 12 clients per class, our small group classes can get booked out. With our 9 hour cancellation policy there is movement in the classes, and we recommend you add yourself to the waitlist by booking yourself into the class. Should a place become available you will receive an email or sms notifying you. You will be required to confirm receipt of the email. If we do not receive a response from you it is assumed you will be attending the class. If you know you cannot attend more than 9 hours prior to the start of class, please login and early cancel yourself to avoid being charged and to allow us to offer your place to another waitlisted client.
I can’t make my class – can you refund the session?
Unfortunately, no. We have a strict 9 hour cancellation policy for group classes and a 24 hour cancellation policy for private classes. If you can’t make your class, it is your responsibility to cancel or let us know at least 9 hours (for group classes) or 24 hours (for private classes) before the start time of your scheduled class or you will lose the session. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, but we need to be strict and fair to all clients.I’m running late – can I still join a class?
All of our classes include a warm up and a cool down. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your class then you may not be able to join, and your Trainer may turn you away from the class. How many people to a class?
With a maximum of 14-16 clients per class, our small group classes allows our Trainers to focus on each individual to achieve maximum benefit.
