The Introductory offer of 5 Sessions for $50 to use within 2 weeks is only available to new clients of KX (first timers) and is activated from the date of your first booking. You can only use the Introductory offer once per person and this cannot be used in conjunction with any other opening offer. You have a 2 week period to use your 5 sessions and any unused sessions will expire.

Easy. Just look at the top left of the online booking screen. The studio logo relates to the booking system you have logged into.

No, sessions are not transferrable and can only be used at the studio you purchased them from. Session packs cannot be shared with more than one person as all session packs are for individual use only.

We do not allow suspensions or extensions on your Introductory Offer (2 weeks) or Monthly passes (30 days) unless you are injured, in which case we will ask for a medical certificate from your doctor. Please be aware when purchasing your Introductory Offer or Monthly pass that you will be required to use your pass within 2 Weeks or 1 month (30 days) respectively. Any unused sessions will expire. Alternatively purchase a block session pack (valid for 12 months).

Unfortunately, no. The booking system won’t let you. You will need to log out of one booking system and close the window down before opening a new one for a new location. Alternatively, you can open multiple internet browsers, one for each different studio location.

Sure you can, however you will need to create a new account at each studio separately and purchase a valid session pack for each studio individually.

Classes need a minimum of 2 clients to proceed. Classes will be cancelled up to 2 hours before the start time of the class if there are less than 2 people booked in.

When starting at KX Pilates, we ask that you attend at least 4-6 Beginner classes to familiarise yourself with our dynamic training method, basic principles and exercises before proceeding to an Intermediate class. We then recommend completing 20-30 Intermediate classes before trying out the Advanced classes. Once you’ve achieved an Advanced level you can mix and match classes to suit – it will never get boring! Are you ready to change levels? An easy way is to ask your Trainer after completing your class. They’ll know if you’re ready to move into a more advanced level.

With a maximum of 16 clients per class, our small group classes can get booked out. With our 9 hour cancellation policy there is movement in the classes, and we recommend you add yourself to the waitlist by booking yourself into the class. Should a place become available you will receive an email or sms notifying you. You will be required to confirm receipt of the email. If we do not receive a response from you it is assumed you will be attending the class. If you know you cannot attend more than 9 hours prior to the start of class, please login and early cancel yourself to avoid being charged and to allow us to offer your place to another waitlisted client.

All of our classes include a warm up and a cool down. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your class then you may not be able to join, and your Trainer may turn you away from the class.

Unfortunately, no. We have a strict 9 hour cancellation policy for group classes and a 24 hour cancellation policy for private classes. If you can’t make your class, it is your responsibility to cancel or let us know at least 9 hours (for group classes) or 24 hours (for private classes) before the start time of your scheduled class or you will lose the session. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, but we need to be strict and fair to all clients.

Exercise is such a personal thing. How often you train will depend on your fitness level, how your body adapts to the training and how well your body can recover. It also depends on your fitness goals and what you do outside of KX classes. We recommend starting with no more than two to three classes per week and increasing from there.

With a maximum of 14-16 clients per class, our small group classes allows our Trainers to focus on each individual to achieve maximum benefit.

Absolutely not. With small group classes (maximum of 12) our Trainers can modify exercises to accommodate each individual’s ability, while at the same time allowing the client to work at their own pace.

We provide complimentary towels, drinking water and have changing facilities on site. Some of our locations also offer shower facilities – please check with your local site

Appropriate clothing is essential as you are going to work up a sweat! We recommend gym tights, leggings or shorts and either a t-shirt or singlet top. Although most clients prefer to train in bare feet, socks are most welcome.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class. This is so you’ll have time to familiarise yourself with the studio, fill out a registration form, meet your Trainer and have a quick run down on the Reformer Bed you will use during class. If you’re late to your first class you might not be able to train. No mobile phones during classes (please be respectful to others).

You must always start with a Beginner class, even if you have done Pilates elsewhere or are quite fit. KX Pilates uses a lot of small muscle groups, you’ll be surprised how challenging the class might be and may need to build up your strength. You also need to familiarise yourself with the KX Pilates dynamic training method, basic principles and exercises, so that you don’t hold up the pace of a more advanced class.

That depends on the individual. Ninety nine percent of our new clients do just fine attending a Beginner class. With classes ranging from a maximum of 12-16 clients, the Trainer can modify exercises to suit differing abilities. Although still quite intense, classes are broken down using simple exercises so all individuals get the most out of their workout. If you have chronic back pain, are coming back from an injury or are pregnant, a one-on-one session would be best to assess your situation.

We do however reserve the right for Owners and/or Trainers to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons if necessary.
